Adobe InDesign Is My Way Ahead

I've been struggling a bit with Word / Adobe Illustrator / Anime Studio Pro etc, but now I think that Adobe InDesign is my way ahead.

It's specifically designed for publishing, and significantly lets me set bleed for pages, which Word and many other applications can't.

Drawing is less easy than in Word, but I think that it's worth re-learning to be able to deliver better artwork & files for printers.

I'm currently working on the 1 month free evaluation copy (for mac - approx 1Gb required) - and I'm sure I'll buy it soon.

In the mean time I need to deliver three more finished PDF's before Feb so I can get all the hard copied I need for the Bologna book fair.

  1. While INDEsign will allow you to layout your pages, a really wonderful program for PAINTING is Corel Painter. You should try it.

  2. yes I've tried this before and could tell it was useful. I was in transition from PC to Mac (probably one of the best decisions I've ever made) - so I'll try looking at it again. I'll see if I can download an evaluation copy.

    Thanks Ginger,
    Neil.
