Picture Books and Negotiations

In at the deep end - spending all day in meetings and negotiations - very interesting and very not what I'm used to - which of course is a good thing. So far I have what appears to be serious negotiation from companies in India (x2), Malaysia, Canada (well, Quebec) and Australia. Initially I didn't want to deal with printing and international shipping etc, but when someone's first order is for 4,000 books it's hard to say no. So I said yes. I find that listening to Richard Branson and Seth Godin on my iPhone on the Bologna walk from the Novotel to the Expo helps (not to mention serious amounts of Italian coffee upon arrival).
