Reviewing Childrens Books on Amazon

The more books I review on Amazon the more dissatisfied I am with the quality of the stories. I think that most are very formulaic and the reason I think this, is because when I read almost any Roald Dahl story I think "WOW" that's so original. The only book that has risen to this level in more recent times is of course the Gruffalo. I'm hoping that one day one of my books will do the job.
